Turn a PDF into a slide deck
Upload a PDF and HippoKit builds a slide deck from it, themed for the audience you name, with images, charts and diagrams. Download it as a PowerPoint file with editable text, or as a PDF.
How it works
Upload the PDF
Upload the report, chapter or manual the deck should cover, and say who the audience is.
Get the deck
HippoKit writes and illustrates the slides. A deck costs 20 credits.
Edit and download
Change a slide inline or by describing the change, then download PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF.
Good to know
- A finished kit is public by link, and can be found by search engines, unless you set it to private from its share menu.
- Slides are on the Plus plan and up. The Free plan covers flashcards, quizzes and ebooks.
- In the PowerPoint file the text is editable; images, charts and diagrams are placed as pictures, and there are no speaker notes. There is no direct export to other slide tools.
- Slides are AI-written from your document. Check facts and figures before you present.

Questions
Can I turn a PDF into slides for free?
No. Slide decks are on the Plus plan and up. On the Free plan you can turn a PDF into flashcards, a quiz and an ebook.
Can I edit the deck in PowerPoint?
Yes, the text. The deck downloads as a PowerPoint (.pptx) file whose titles, body text and bullets are real text boxes. Images, charts and diagrams are pictures you can move or replace, and the file has no speaker notes. It also downloads as a PDF.
What does "themed for your audience" mean?
You say who the deck is for, and HippoKit picks a visual theme and tone to match — playful for children, more formal for executives. Choosing the theme yourself is on Premium and up.
Can I change one slide without redoing the deck?
Yes. Edit a slide inline, or describe the change and preview it before it is applied. The other slides are left alone.
