About HippoKit
One source.
Five formats.
Every learner.
HippoKit turns any topic or PDF into flashcards, quizzes, ebooks, audience-themed slide decks, and AI-narrated audio — five formats from one source. Built for instructional designers, L&D teams, and serious self-directed learners who need every shape a lesson should take.
Why HippoKit exists
HippoKit started from a single observation: the same lesson lands for one person as a flashcard, another as a deck, a third as an audio walk-through — and bombs in every other format. Not a small effect. The whole difference between learning and not learning.
That pattern is universal — visible in cert-prep, in compliance training rollouts, in coaching engagements, in self-study. Existing tools force people to choose: Quizlet for flashcards, NotebookLM for listening, Articulate for slides, ChatGPT for everything else. Every choice is another login, another paste of the source material, another reformat. HippoKit collapses all of that into a single generation step so a learner — or a team — types a topic onceand gets every format out the other side.
Who we build for
Instructional designers & L&D teams
Turn 100-page SOPs and compliance documents into multi-format training assets in 1–5 minutes. Export as PDF, deck, or audio for whatever platform your team already uses.
Coaches, consultants, educators
Package years of expertise into kits clients can actually use on a Tuesday morning. One topic, every format your audience needs.
Serious self-directed learners
Cert candidates, career-changers, lifelong learners — the people who need flashcards AND a quiz AND a deck their study group can flip through.
What we believe
Time is short.
The world reinvents itself every quarter. Learners — kids, professionals, career-changers — need to absorb things quickly to stay relevant. Slow tools fail people.
Formats matter.
One lesson lands as a flashcard for one person, a deck for an executive, an ebook for a researcher, audio for a commuter, a quiz for a cert candidate — and bombs in every other format. The format is not a feature. It is the whole point.
AI should serve learners.
Not replace teachers. Not produce slop. Use AI to do the boring work — formatting, narration, drills, themed decks — so learners spend their time learning, not transcribing.
Privacy is non-negotiable.
Your study material is yours. We do not sell data. We do not train public models on your inputs. Period.
For your AI assistant, too
HippoKit speaks Model Context Protocol — the open standard for AI assistants to call structured tools. Connect HippoKit to Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Cursor, and ask for a study kit the same way you'd ask for anything else. Same multi-format content, same quality, just routed through whichever interface you're already in.
What we're building
HippoKit takes a topic you type — or a PDF you upload (up to ~150 pages on Premium) — and generates five interactive, exportable study formats: flashcards with spaced recall, scored quizzes with explanations, formatted ebooks with TOC and PDF export, audience-themed slide decks, and AI-narrated audio lessons you can listen to on a walk.
It is a tool, not a platform. There is no marketplace, no instructor ecosystem, no social feed competing for your attention. Your kits are yours, your library is yours, and the only thing we want to be the best at is generating multiple formats from one source.
For teams & organizations
HippoKit is built to be safe to standardize on:
- Your inputs are yours. We do not sell data and we do not train public models on what you generate.
- Your library is private by default. Sharing is opt-in, per kit. No public profile pages, no social feed.
- Real human contact. Email reaches a real person; we read every message and respond.
- Tool, not a platform. No marketplace, no algorithmic feed. The product does one thing: generate multi-format learning kits.
